If it wasn't for Jake and Elwood, the blues would have never had the kind of revival they had 20 years ago. (And there would never have been a House of Blues!) And this concert, this CD, captures all the excitement and joy of blues music. I purchased this as a "thank you" gift for a business associate that I knew loved the Blues Brothers. I knew nothing about them and was afraid he probably already had this CD. He didn't. In fact, he knew nothing about it. He said that he listens to it every day and it is, by far, one of the nicest gifts he's ever received. This is great album, especially for car listening. It's full of great songs by great talent, and has a good bit of humor to it (Rubber Biscuit is one of my favorites, bow, bow, bow).
