The Boy From Oz was a phenomenal show to be able to experience in person. The sheer energy of Hugh Jackman is worth the ticket price alone. While the CD is full of the great, well done songs from the show, it does not quite do it justice. The magic of seeing it in person and the interaction that takes place with audience cannot be duplicated. This is definitely for someone who has seen this show, as it brings all its outrageous glory back to you. If you haven't seen The Boy From Oz, see it, then buy the album.Free Music Review: LOVED IT!

I thoroughly enjoy my Avenue Q cd. The music is fun and exhilerating. Hugh Jackman is trully a great performer- there is no x man in sight here. I can't wait tog go to New York and see this!

WOW! That's about all I can say. My wife and I saw TBFO on Sat. Feb. 28th. Hugh was great and interacted well with the audience. Latecomers who were seated after he finished Love Crazy were treated to fun-spirited ribbing and embarassment. It was hilarious. The two actresses who played Liza and Judy were superb. The real scene stealer, however, was the little boy who played young Peter. He was amazing! Great show, great music, great star. While "The Boy From Oz" may not be the best broadway musical ever , any problems the show may have are overshadowed by Hugh Jackman's performance. His endurance,personality and vitality on the stage lights up the Great White Way! One should not believe all the reviewers have to say - sometimes its great just to go to a Broadway show and enjoy it for what it is - The Boy from Oz is a great nights entertainment thanks to Mr Jackman.Free Music Review: An exellent recording with great cast

I am very pleased with this CD: I wanted to hear the full score of 'The Boy from Oz' as I wanted to have an idea of Hugh Jackman's singing, and I was not disappointed. I loved the music, and the structure of the musical, and Mr Jackman's performance, which is exeptional. This CD is especially great as there is no video recording of the show and the original Broadway cast recording is the only chance to get impressions of this great musical.
