Free Music Notes for The Brothers Four - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: A must have in your Bros. 4 collection Hit: 5 StarsI love the Brothers Four and this cd was a great addition to my other Bros. 4 cds. My dad was surprised to see I have it and he's asked me to get him one as well, which I will.
Free Music Review: Loved it when I was 16, still do Hit: 5 StarsI bought the vinyl version back when I was 16, which was a loooong time ago (or was it yesterday). The humor and sensitivity of this group still rings true after all these years. It's an excellent collection of 12 of their most wonderful songs (missing Try to Remember but that wasn't on the original album back in the 60s anyway). Folk music was very popular in the mid 60s and this was IMHO the best of the best. I used to listen to them on my home stereo, now I play it on the car stereo and sing right along with 'em as I roll down the highway. Yeah, it's the crazy old man who used to be a crazy young man. I'm still young at heart, still listening to all of that great music that came out in the 60s and 70s. If you like great folk music, this CD is for you, and maybe your grandkids.
