Free Music Notes for The Cars - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: Best Cars Album Hit: 5 StarsI loved this album, Cars "Greatest Hits", it combined all the greatest hits of one of the best 80's bands, and in my opinion the best. It has all of my favorite songs, "Just What I Needed", "Since Your Gone", and "Shake It Up". There is not one song on this album that is not outstanding, 13 for 13. This was the first cd I bought of the cars, and I bought it about a year ago, and have since then boughten more and more cars' cds. I like all of their records, but most especially this one. I think that any one that loves 80's music should have this album in their collection.
Free Music Review: A great C.D. to Drive to. Hit: 5 StarsAfter visiting a c.d. store, I wanted to buy "The Cars: Greatest Hits", but it the store only had the album on gold c.d. It was very expensive, but I listen to it all the time, and you will too. You will remember most of the songs on this c.d. instantly. People say that gold c.d's sound better, I'm sure they do, but it was nothing that I realy noticed. It's not going to matter if you buy the gold c.d. or the regular, they both sound the same to me.Whatever format you choose though, you will not be disapointed. Get this c.d. if your a casual Cars fan or a die hard fan, you will like it either way. It's like Devo, but not as geeky.
Free Music Review: stainboy says Hit: 4 StarsThe Cars are a really good pop-rock band. They have a lot of talent and have opened the doors for similar pop-rock bands. My favorites on this CD are: Just What I Needed, Since You're Gone, You Might Think, Good Times Roll, Let's Go, and Shake It Up. I totally recommend this CD. It is a very well put togeather Greatest Hits compilation. I give it 4 stars. This is stainboy signing off.
Free Music Review: Not a bad song on here, but... Hit: 4 Starsit's too bad the tracks aren't in chronological order so you can more easily hear the Cars' descent from quirky new wave innovators to rather bland mainstream popsters. Their first two ablums represent their best work by far. I listen to those far more than "Greatest Hits".
Free Music Review: One of the best Hit: 5 StarsThe Cars greatest hits is a must for any music collecter. They had a sound of their own, and amazing vocals. the lead singer has a deep bass sounding voice very much like Steve Bono from U2, and Alphavilles lead singer whoever he is. I'd say their riffs and synthesized bass beats really kick some boot. Every track is unique and excellent. Listen to the whole CD, trust me. I rate it #9 on all time best albums. You'll most likely recognize "you might think" "Just what I needed" "good times roll" and "magic". SO FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THATS HOLY LISTEN TO IT, DANGIT!
