When I was in high school (circa 1979-1983) I discovered the Cars. New Wave/Punk music was the new and improved rock music of the time and the Cars was the band that pretty much commercialized it. Now, it's 1999 and a whole new generation of rockers like Green Day or Sugar Ray are continuing where the Cars left off. It's easy to see that the Cars' music (even though a lot my friends in high school hated them) has INFLUENCED a whole new generation of musicians, who now think that the Cars are God themselves :-) Who'da THUNK that the Cars would even be in rock music's history back in 1978? :-)Free Music Review: 150 MILES AN HOUR!

I've just chat'd with SLUT who reviews the make-out songs and she said to check this one out so I listened to samples and agree they would befun to drive around and get off with. Hi powered and loud and deeply romantic. No wonder Rick O'Kaseek married that beautiful model. If he can warble like that. This compilation is honestly the "best" of The Cars and is one of the best Greatest Hits albums around. They didn't stick in any of the songs you don't want to remember because there aren't any you don't wanna remember! Everytime I listen to this album it makes me remember how good the Eighties really were and also makes me wish The Cars would reunite so that I could experience those days "live" one more time. Ric, Ben, Guys, ...come on , one more time around the block?...for old times sake?
