I have loved this movie since I was a little girl (I'm now 25 with a child of my own) and would watch it over and over again....It was so bad that My mom said that the dog could have recited the script And a few years ago I looked for the Soundtrack for some reason and only found it on cassette. I bought it and played it over and over (It finally died) and I just replaced it. The songs are wonderful and playful I really love the songs "Girls of rock and roll" and "my mother". It's probally true that only real fans of the movie and little kids would like this CD but are we not all kids at heart? I hope that some day my own daughter will pick this soundtrack up and listen to all the fun songs on it.Free Music Review: Chipmunks

Okay I've read some of the reviews and I agree with some of them but not all. The only non-chipmunks fans that wouldnt like this are the people who dont like the voices which at times make it hard to tell what they are singning. This movie is more recent than 1987 because then i was only a year old when it came out and i remeber buying it at a costco. There are 3 new songs on this soundtrack which make it better from the clips I've heard. Mexican Holiday and Flying with the egals probably would have gone where Lo Gusta and Off to see the world are. I love this soundtrack and I think anyone who gave it a chance would too. "The Chipmunk Adventure" is my favorite movie from my childhood and listening to the soundtrack cheers me up any time I need cheering up. Songs like "I Yi Yi Yi...", "Weekend in France...", and "Mexican Holiday" forever plaster a smile on my face and 80's rock songs like "Girls of Rock 'N' Roll" remind me of my first teen idol crush: Alvin! (I was 7 years old, give me a break...you're allowed to be in love with a cartoon character at that age). I don't know what this soundtrack will do for other people, but, for me, it certainly brought back the memories :)Free Music Review: The Adventure of a lifetime

When I was a little girl, I would always watch this movie when it came on television. The music got to me and made me fall in love with this movie. I am 21 years old now and still love this movie and music. I am so glad I bought this cd, so that I can relive the joy I felt watching this movie. The music is so upbeat at times and very heartfelt as well. The song "My Mother" is so tender and sweet that it brings tears to my eyes and shivers to my spine everytime I hear it. I recommend this cd to people of all ages just because it is so much fun and brings out the kid.Free Music Review: A childhood memory

I am another person who grew up watching this movie. I just loved all these songs when I was a kid but I have to admit I was surprised when I loved them just as much as an adult. These songs are extremely well written. The nostalgia makes me so happy it brings tears to my eyes. If you grew up watching this movie as well, you should definitely pick up this sndtrk...even if only for the memories. I promise you won't regret it!
