Free Music Review: An Overlooked Masterpiece!!!!!

I know from what I've read,and I've read alot about this band,that Steve Kilbey sort of disowned this record..it was recorded after a long tour and the label wanted another hit..so being pressured they turned out this record.I found this record..not quite really following the band at the time,at a small town WalMart of all places and found absolutely nothing wrong with it from the first spin.Through the years as I have championed this band as one of the GREATS this record,particularly the latter half of it,has grown more haunting and beautiful.Peter Koppes and Marty Wilson-Piper play dazzling,intermingling and transcendental guitar while Steve Kilbey's vocals ebb in and out of the cosmic storm.It is by no means a bad record..it is perhaps they're accidental masterpiece!!!
