This album, in its shorter vinyl version, was my introduction to Irish folk music in 1963. It's a mix of traditional folk and rebel tunes, and a good base for further exploration into the genre. As a teen just beginning to explore a world of ideals, I soaked it all up, but especially loved the Children's Medley, portions of which I sang to my youngest brother and later my own children and grandchildren in their lullabys.
I so appreciate this longer, complete concert as it gives a more in-depth reminder of the way things were, way back when.

The last of the Clancys Llam passed away about a month ago and this live concert from St Patricks Day 1963 by the very influential celtic folk group is a fitting memorial to the brothers and their time on earth.Free Music Review: What wonderful musicians and music!

I was at this concert in 1963. This CD is a wonderful journey back in time for me. I had the album, but wore it out. It was not as complete as the CD, so there is even more to enjoy again.
