Free Music Notes for The Crow: City Of Angels - Original Miramax Motion Picture Soundtrack

Free Music Review: A good soundtrack
Hit: 4 Stars

The movie is okay, but the soundtrack is really good. Bush's rendition of Joy Division's "In a Lonely Place" is as good as NIN's was of "Dead Souls" in the first movie. Hole's version of Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman" is as intense as the original. Filter is always cool. Iggy Pop also adds well (considering his, Joy Division's, and the Cure's contribution to the concept of the original Crow). White Zombie's "I'm Your Boogieman" is also a welcome addition (if only his Crow movie could be done). Take away the rap songs, and this is a perfect soundtrack. Just as good as the first, and perhaps more appropriately gothic.

Free Music Review: Filter, Bush, the Toadies....Remember these bands?
Hit: 4 Stars

I've been carrying around a battle-scarred copy of this CD for years. While I don't revisit the alt-rock hits at the beginning, I have discovered a jewel near the end of the disc - Iggy Pop's live version of "I Wanna Be Your Dog". It is an absolutely blistering track. I don't know how many people out there are Stooges fans, but this version beats the original on their first album, hands down. Iggy manages to pack more power and sleaze into 3 minutes than any of these other bands can put on an album.

Free Music Review: Not bad...not bad at all
Hit: 4 Stars

It's a fairly good soundtrack, I have to admit. I'm Your Boogieman, Teething, Jurassitol, and I Wanna Be Your Dog are probably the best songs on the CD. Lots of great ones, though. With bands like Hole, White Zombie, Filter, Deftones, Iggy Pop, Korn, and others, what do you expect? However, the one bad aspect of this CD is the two rap songs. They are really the only bad parts of the CD. I highly recommend this album, though. It's well worth it!

Free Music Review: Great rock(grunge?)songs!
Hit: 4 Stars

I liked this album,it isnt as good as The crow soundtrack. But almost! Best songs are Bush`s "In a lonely place" and Filters "Jurassitol". If you liked the movie,by the album!..You wont be dissapointed.

Free Music Review: One of the best soundtracks ever.
Hit: 4 Stars

This CD is full of all new songs that you cant find anywhere else. Sean Olson by Korn and Boogieman by White Zombie are two of the highlights. A very nice CD all around with a nifty little comic in the coverlet.
