Free Music Review: One of the Best Albums of All Time

I love everything about this CD. The music is so awesome and suits the mood of the movie so well that no other non-orchestral soundtrack can touch it. It starts out with the brilliant and atmospheric "Burn" by The Cure, and then gradually descends into wickedly intense, guitar-driven masterpieces from bands like Nine Inch Nails, Rollins Band, Pantera, For Love Not Lisa, and Jesus and Mary Chain. The album then ends with two excellent, melancholy tunes with women vocalists which gives the listener a rest after the insanely cool rollercoaster of alt-rock/metal before it. I'm not a big fan of Rage Against the Machine, but believe when I say that every other song on this album is an absolute gem!Free Music Review: i cant speak!

words cannot describe how this movie and music has touched my life. when i first heard about lees death i was shocked but coming to the realization that i might not see him in any more films came to this one. the soundtrack is purified to the brink of being probably the greatest soundtrack ever its has to intertwine with the movie and this does. raw voltage of energy and hard metal is the reason why this is a success. the cure , henry rollins rage and stp have made this album feel like your in the movie a great array of music combining with melody at the end.
everyone should own this album a great tribute to brandon lee and the movie thats spawn it a cult classic.

Why do so many many people rave on and on about how good this soundtrack is? Because of the excellent songs and the amazing variety of talent. Heck you go from moshing with Pantera to falling asleep with Jane Siberry, add in my favorite Cure song (Burn) sprinkle a dab of violent Femmes (what a great song!), too many great songs to name 'em all. Listen there's at least something for every rock fan here and you'll discover some great music by bands you've probably never heard of before, for example: For Love not Lisa's Slip Slide Melting, you have got to hear it. When was the last time you scored a quality cd? The kind of cd that would be an essential addition for your collection. The kind that makes you glad that you purchased it. This one does !!! With an allstar cast and a genuine effort from each and every artist, this album is stuffed to the max (from start to finish) with songs that will definitely alter your emotions. Just like the movie, these songs border on the realm of "Spirituality". Just listening to it enhances my senses to want more. Too bad more albums weren't made this way. this collaboration set the mood for the crow perfectly. each and every one of the crow soundtracks are good in their own, but this one takes the lead. i love nine inch nails and dead souls (track 4) is one of their best. golatha tenement blues was a great song from a band i have never heard of called machines of loving grace (track 2). ghost rider is a decent song from the rollins band (track 7). after the flesh from my life with the thrill kill kult (track 11) sounds like something ministry did. over all great soundtrack.
