Free Music Notes for The Crow: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Free Music Review: Great soundtrack to a great movie
Hit: 5 Stars

I recently watched "The Crow" on the Sundance Channel and although I knew about the movie I had never really seen it. I really liked the movie and ordered the soundtrack. I admired the tragic story esp. with the death of Brandon Lee in the making and the stylish filmaking, but there was something special about the movie and the soundtrack really takes you back to the movie. The soundtrack rocks and I am so glad I got it. Even without the movie this collection of early 90's rock really stands out.

Free Music Review: A purely excellent collaboration of music....
Hit: 5 Stars

Upon seeing the movie, I bought the soundtrack. I thought it was purely excellent. It contains many of the widely familiar bands of today. The songs all have a hue of darkness about them and that is what makes them even more attractive. If you purchase this CD collaboration you will not be disappointed.

Do you believe?

"Little things use to mean so much to Shelly, I always thought they were trivial. Believe me, nothing is trivial." --Eric Draven (The Crow)

Free Music Review: My Teenage Soundtrack
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack is simply amazing. It fits the movie to a T. It was one of my very first teenage music purchases and it sort of defined my life at the time and my taste in music for the times to come. My first introduction to NIN, The Cure, Rage... and the final song by Jane Siberry is so sad and beautiful. I only saw the movie once (though I own it), but I have listened to the soundtrack countless times over the years. This album really helped me and I am so grateful for it.

Free Music Review: If you liked the movie you'll love this CD
Hit: 5 Stars

Few movies have soundtracks that mean anything. Most just take the popular songs of the time and use them as a selling point for the movie, but this is NOT the case here. NIN, Machines of Loving Grace, The Cure, Rage Against the Machine, For Love Not Lisa, and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult all have some powerful contributions that help set this soundtrack apart from all the rest. Even if you haven't seen the movie check this one out, it will be worth the time.

Free Music Review: Not bad at all
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a really good soundtrack. The album starts off with the Cure's song "Burn", which I have to say is the second best song on the soundtrack. The other great song that make the album great are "Golgotha Tenemant Blues" by Machines of Loving Grace, Stone Temple Pilot's "Big Empty", and "Dead Souls" by Nine Inch Nails which is the best song on the soundtrack.
