Free Music Review: Join this Cult.

"The Cult" always seem like they're one of those bands that everyone wish they got into sooner because they were so good. To me they represent everything cool about rock n' roll. Good style, smart lyrics, a bit mystical, and above all else, rockin' songs. Something good to crank when you're cruisin' down western highways in your convertible. This is about as good as one disc could be, and I'm really happy it contains "The Witch" from the "Cool World" soundtrack. Fans of "Sisters of Mercy", "The Doors", and early "Soundgarden" order now!

They were great when they first came out, and still create the same energy within the spirit now.

The Cult's 'Pure Cult' is an album featuring all of the Cult's greatest hits. Most of the songs are really good on this album...There are some true classics. My favorite song on this album though is 'She Sells Sanctuary'.That song is amazingly great.Go buy this album if you wanna know about the Cult or just wan't to listein to a great cd.

Free Music Review: This CD and High Octane Cult are pretty much the same...

High Octane Cult has a muscle-car theme to it but otherwise these compilations vary only slightly.

The above-mentioned JH is NUTS. If there was a group out there that defied schlocky American metal and pulled away on its own, combining classic rock riffs with a bluesy/country twang, this is the ONE. Maybe the fact that they were British and were influenced by, say, the Sisters of Mercy helped them along.

Anyway, while your average Motley Crue fan is busy writhing on the floor of an Albuquerque methadone clinic, pining away for those Shout At the Devil days, your average Cult fan is busy celebrating their diverse listening tastes and still exploring new music. They're like a not-so-trashy Guns'n'Roses or Metallica who were interested in making arena rock that could stand on its own next to Led-Zeppelin or AC/DC. Seriously, of all 80s bands, I respect these guys and Jane's Addiction the most.

This is another Great Cult Purchase and it is well worth the price, I guess I am just another Die-Hard Cult Fan.
