The Desert Song was my mother's favorite and I got it for her along with a small CD player when she was very ill. It took her back to her earlier days with my father and was quite pleasing to her. I enjoyed it, too, as I used to hear our old 78 album of this operetta as a kid and could even remember many of the words to the songs, much to my surprise! The sound quality was good and I recommend it.
