Free Music Notes for The Devil's RejectsFree Music Review: zombie is a genius when he adds music to film Hit: 5 Stars
in the first of the set, House of 1,000 Corpses, zombie used his own hardcore music as the soundtrack, which, for that movie worked wonderfully. however, in this sequal of sorts, we see zombie's true musical genius. he uses some of the greatest songs from eht 70's to illustrate his point. he makes his villians real, he gives them loves and fears, and with the music in the movie, the scenes pull the viewer in. the soundtrack is motivated, well thought out, and just simply entertaining.
Free Music Review: What's better than Rob's movies? Hit: 5 Stars
Not much. But his soundtracks are right up there. As a HUGE Rob Zombie/horror movie/movie soundtrack fan, this CD is a godsend and probably the only CD I'll buy this year (I'm hooked on iTunes, what can I say?). Soundtracks like this that blend dialogue with music pull the listener in. And Midnight Rider? Truly one of the best songs around. You won't regret this purchase, even if you have no intention of seeing the movie (though why would you skip that?!).
Free Music Review: Great Soundtrack for a Great Moviee Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is full of great classic rock and twisted sound clips from the movie. If that isn't enough, there is also a 20 minute "making of" feature. For anyone who is a fan of classic rock and/or The Devil's Rejects, this soundtrack is a must-have.
Note: Unlike some "soundtracks", the music on this CD was actually featured IN the movie, not just thrown together after the fact for the sake of making a soundtrack.
Free Music Review: The devils rejects....best soundtrack I ever purchased!! Hit: 5 Stars
Some movies this summer when you went to watch them had good music in it but the sound track didn't have anything on it that was in the movie (ie. The longest yard) This soundtrack is not in that catogory. Look at the artists and song, this is a basically greatest hits of rock album with some terrific sound bites from the movie. If you into the movie you'll definatley be into the soundtrack, even if you weren't into the movie.
Free Music Review: It's about freakin' time another great soundtrack came out. Hit: 5 Stars
Rob Zombie is dominating lately, and this is proof that he can properly score a soundtrack without shameless self promotion. As one of the last rock stars, its surprising that he has time to expand his creative reach into such projects as HO1KC, and The Devil's Rejects, without losing something special. But of course, Rob Zombie has pulled through, and provided us with even more great entertainment.
