Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Doors! Who gives a rip if these aren't the master or first generation recordings of these shows. Leave that crap between the parties that actually have skin in the game. It's still a snapshot in time of a band at a very nascent, but very experimental and hungry stage, and it floored me. It's like whining about your favorite author being in a ragged old paperback instead of a collector's edition slick covered hardback. It's contents are still the same, so enjoy the f'ing thing. Seriously, some people have too much time on their hands. Get this version or get some bootleg version. Either way, just enjoy.

The Doors were still working on arrangements and feeling out their moves when they played the Matrix Club in San Francisco for four nights in March, 1967- just two months after the release of their revolutionary self-titled debut album. These two seminal gigs were captured on tape but were previously unreleased until this new two disc set.
