Free Music Review: If it's The Doors, it's 5 stars!

Since The Doors are on this CD, it has to have a 5 star rating. This CD takes songs from a few different Doors CDs, most being the more popular Doors songs you hear on the radio. The addition of 'Love Street' was very fitting and welcome. As well, some of Jim's spoken word that was put to music after his death (as featured on An American Prayer) is here. The Velvet Underground gives us 'Heroin'; a great song; very ominous given the context that it appears on this CD. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus perform the haunting 'Carmina Burana'. This is a good CD, but the facts are that you are not going to get any unreleased material on this disc. You can collect all of The Doors' CDs and Jim's An American Prayer and have most of the songs that appear here. Velvet Underground and Carmina Burana are the exceptions. It's still a good disc, but maybe you should buy other Doors CDs first.
