This album really is horrible. The Dream does not have a good voice. & throughout the album you find many songs where he is imitating the style of Prince, he even named one song: "[Purple] Kisses", which is why I gave his album a 1star, because of the fact that he had tried to bite the style of Prince. He's nothing great, I like the look he's going for, but hate his "just okay" voice. Free Music Review: Refreshing return of R&B

The Dream breathes new life into a genre that has been suffering for a while now. There is a lot of variety between the tracks as well as in each track. There are many change-ups within the songs which keep most of them from getting mondane or repetitious. The track to track transitions also make this a great CD for doing some cardio at the gym, (tracks 2-6 anyway.) Would give a five star rating, but there are a few tracks I find myself skipping frequently. By far, the best aspect of this album is the production.Free Music Review: BABY MAKEN!!! So far one of the best R&B albums I have heard in a while. This guy has a lot of infectious melodies that it is no wonder how he effortlessly makes hits for other artists as well. Also big props for the mixing of the album, each song goes into the next in such a nice flow that it makes this album a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end. I highly recommend this album for those who are willing to take a shot on a new talented artist.Free Music Review: I Luv Your Girl!

The-Dream drops a sexy baby making album with his debut Love/Hate. He burst on the scene with Shawty Is Da Shhh (which is lightweight unlistenable at the moment since they played it to the bones!) and boy was that a hit. Dream has his own little style instantly recognizable when you hear it because of singing style and beat style. Pretty much every song could be a radio hit. Nikki, I Luv Your Girl, She Needs My Love, Falsetto, Playin In Her Hair, Purple Kisses, Luv Songs are all bangers and would sound right at home on any R. Kelly cd or baby making cd. The only questionable song is Ditch That which is just wack but the rest of the album is sexy and to the point. Don't sleep on the Dream...no pun intended.
