If you get the chance to see The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway - don't pass up the opportunity. It is one of the best, most original productions in years. I can't say enough wonderful things about the performances and the score. You'll be singing many of these tunes in the shower. If you can't get a chance to see the show, having the cast recording is a great substitute. You'll love it.Free Music Review: Great cast recording... but bad liner notes

An otherwise great cast recording is marred by a poorly written Synopsis in the liner notes. Until the musical hits the road, I depend upon liner notes to help structure the songs on the cast album. The synopsis of this play was poorly written. Each of the recording's musical tracks are indicated properly in the synopsis, but the commentary tracks by Man In Chair are not indicated in the synopsis. To make matters more confusing, the author of the synopsis decided to write the names of the characters in all caps which is normally reserved for the song titles.
