2007 album from Vini Reilly, the Manchester guitarist who has been releasing unique and emotionally-stirring albums for three decades. The Durutti Column were one of the first bands signed to the legendary Factory Records in the late '70s and continued to record for the label until they closed their doors in the '90s. Since then, he has continued to release albums of sheer beauty, split evenly between his atmospheric guitar -and-electronic instrumental pieces and upbeat vocal-led tracks. Artful.2007 Release from Vini Reilly who (As Usual) Plays Most of the Instruments Heard on These Eight Tracks, with Percussion Being Handled by Bruce Mitchell. The Group Emerged at the End of the 1970's Punk/New Wave Scene in Manchester, England with Mostly Instrumental Masterpieces of Delicate Delight.
