What an incredible piece of work--exquisite, sultry and very melodic...This is the best score I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. It swept me away to the movie's surreal world from the very first track. Every song is tastefully done/remastered and is a pleasure to listen to. This Gabriel Yared masterpiece will put anyone in a deep trance. *Highly* recommended.Free Music Review: A BEAUTIFUL MIX!

It seems as though people either really loved the movie or hated it (I adored it), but I can't believe the reviews would be mixed on this soundtrack. It is simply wonderful; a beautiful mix of ethnic and and haunting music, it's a good part of why I loved the movie. The English Patient score is inspired by Bach, and that makes it a high standard score.

this is the most amazing cd i have ever heard. the score perfectly captures the ever changing emotions of the main character's of the movie. there is not one song on the sountract that is not only tolerable but completely enjoyable to listen to. i can listen to this cd on repeat for hours and never bore of the smooth flowing melodiesFree Music Review: Simply Intoxicating!!!

This soundtrack is definitely one of the BEST that I own. It's mezmerizing sound is one that makes it so unique, to say the least.
