When I was younger,i always heard my dad playing Billy Joel tapes in his bedroom. I had no clue at the time,who Billy Joel was. I wasn't a huge fan of him because his music was not very meaningful to me when I heard it. About 3 months ago, I went to see Billy Joel and Elton John playing together in a concert live at the Nasaw Colliseum. And when Billy Joel started running his fingers all over the piano,playing his music, I was amazingly thrilled! As songs got played,one after another, the more excited and amazed I got. And when the concert ended,I almost cried . I wanted the concert to go on forever!On the drive home,I kept thinking to myself how the expensive tickets were worth it ALL the way. I think the album is great,and I also think that Billy Joel is a musical genius! Clap your hands for Billy JOel!!... Woo Hoo!!!Free Music Review: Guilty pleasure

Take a look at my other reviews and you'll find BT, DJ Rap, Balligomingo, Dance Alliance, Solar Twins, Chicane, and you get the picture. But I was raised on Billy Joel, I loved 'Piano Man' long before I knew what a turntable was. And I actually bought this as Christmas Present for my Mom. And like Sonny Chow, I was disapointed not to see 'The Stranger' or 'Scenes from an Italian restaurant' on the track list, but it's got 'Piano Man' (no freaking duh), 'She's always an woman to me', 'Only the Good die young', and my personal favorite 'The Downeaster "Alexa"'. When someone asks me what I think is good pop, I throw on this album, crank up 'Movin' Out' and remind the world what real talent is. I was born in 1985, so I missed Billy Joel's glory (afro) days. I was seven years old when 'River of Dreams' was released, but you can't deny quality music. And most of them still flare like always, though the electronica piano on 'We Didn't Start the Fire' is laughable compared to Enigma or Delerium. No 'Stranger' no 'bottle of red or white', but still a great album, even for Rave DJs like myself.Free Music Review: the antichrist of rock 'n roll

Could this man possibly be more evil? To play such utterly banal, fluffy schlock as "Piano Man" and then claim "It's Still Rock 'N Roll to Me?" Makes me wonder if record burning is really such a bad thing.Free Music Review: Yay!

This is truly a great collection of just a HINT of all the great music by Billy Joel. It in no way compares to having the actual albums, however the big ones that we all know and love are on these discs!!! You should own this CD if you are a Billy Joel fan, odds are your favorite song is on this!!! I'm really happy I bought this, loooooooove it! :)
