I was hestitant to buy this CD because I couldn't listen any samples of it. But I have been an Everly fan since the very beginning. I had never heard of these albums because as a young married woman at the time, I didn't have money to spend on records. The reviews of this were so good, I finally odered it! WOW! Was I surprized!! The reviewer in the little brochure that came with it said "That'll Be The Day" was not a strong number. Boy was he wrong!!! I loved that beat so much that I started dancing right away. "So Fine" sent chills up and down my SPINE!!! I, also, loved "Maybelline", "Dancing in the Streets", "My Babe", "I Got a Woman", "Lonely Avenue", and "The Girl Can't Help It". I really liked the new version of "Love Hurts", too. The one I am over-the-moon about is "Hi Heel Sneaker". Hadn't heard it in almost 50 yrs. I loved Don's solo version of it. Who knew he could sing like that!!!Wonderful! "What am I Living For" harkens back to their original recordings. I had never heard "Follow Me" or "Don't Ya Even Try" before. Don't know why these 2 weren't big hits for them. I don't think they were promoted properly. I really enjoyed the 3 songs that they sang in Italian. This CD just proves that they could take any song and make it theirs! Don was especially good at this!!! I Very Highly reccommend this CD to any music lover! EB FOREVER!!
