The Feeling deliver on what was relished as pure pop music from the 1960's and 1970's. Due to corporate control of radio stations and their formats, it would literally take a miracle for the type of music The Feeling promote to get any broadcast air time. Discovered this group via YouTube.com and their cover of The Buggles 'Video Killed the Radio Star'. Their lyrics are thought provoking and their harmonies genuine. I bought this CD because I had heard the single Sewn. The rest of the CD is fantastic. I love every song on this CD which is very rare for me. I also recently just saw them in concert and even the CD does not do justice to seeing them live. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes good music regardless of age or sex. I first heard The Feeling when they played the tribute to Princess Di. I thought they were pretty catchy and decided to find out more about them. I listened to a few snippets on their site and really fell in love with them. There first cd is fully of variety and emotion. There is heart-wrenching sadness in songs like "Rose". There is even silly upbeat sing a-long with "Helicoptor". I cannot wait to hear more from them.Free Music Review: Dare I say it? They sound like the Beatles.

The Beatles'influence can be heard in most modern artists, but I wonder if these guys listened to anyone else growing up. The Beatles were brillant in the late 60's and here, 40-some years later, The Feeling have cranked out an album that feels contemporary, yet very much in line with their "Forefathers".
