Free Music Notes for Electric Arguments

Free Music Review: It's really Paul!
Hit: 5 Stars

I can't believe being a avid Mc Cartney fan that I finally discoverd The Fireman. Where have I been? Recently I stumbled over "Electric Arguments" by The Fireman, Paul and some dude who calles himself Youth.
I didn't expect much from the CD but after just one listen, I was shocked at how entertaining this disk was. Strange, but surprisingly delightful, "Electric Arguments" had me go back for more and more. The best track, in my opinion, is "Highway". That tune knocks me out. The lead off tune is different and catchy. Somewhere in the Cd I noticed some Pink Floyd riffs. Am I nuts?
Anyway, if you like Mc Cartney buy this CD. Even if you are not a big Paul fan, take a chance on this effort. You'll get no arguments from me on "Electic Arguments". It is the best CD of the year!

Free Music Review: Uplifting..Brilliant...Joyus...
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been most critical with Macca's last few releases and have to admit I stayed away from the previous Fireman projects because I just am not into dance and or techno music.

That being said...

This CD is brilliant. Crowded House's "Together Alone" CD which Youth produced is among one of my favorite CD's of all time due to the fact that it has a certain atomosphere in the production that lifts the songs above the norm. This is the case here and it lets Macca soar.

There's so much good stuff on here. Every track has something interesting about it. I love "Sing the Changes" "Highway" "Light From Your Lighthouse"
"Dance 'til We're High".

I'm very impressed with it all.

Good one Macca and Youth.

Free Music Review: Too many 1 star reviews to 'comment' on them all....
Hit: 5 Stars

...so a review of an album i havn't heard is the quick way out.
I am most definitely not a McCartney fan or even a Beatles fan.
Still i feel compelled to comment here , based on the samples i have just listened to, twice.
Wow , Maybe i'm amazed,(didn't say i don't know his stuff), but i am going to order this album straight away.
I love all the melodies i heard on my crappy speakers, can't wait to hear the entire album properly. I am truly, amazed but it sounds wonderful.

One of the ,1 star reviewers said it was rubbish, because he couldn't sing along to it .Oh, forget it ,i'm not even gonna start on that/him. Aaaaaarrrggghhh.
Melodies that reach out and grab ya,is what i hear. I'm buyin !.

Free Music Review: Total surprise and departure from McCartney
Hit: 5 Stars

Was bever really a Wings fan. In fact, as talented as McCartney is, HIS solo efforts were the least impressive to me, post-Beatles, much less than any of his bandmates' solo efforts, except for one of his most recent releases.

THIS body of work, however....is quite another story. He really just LET himself GO on this. Extremely artistic, out of character, very listenable, original in its occasional deriviteness...doesn't matter...

I won't be specific about each song like SOME reviewer-wannabee's.
Just turn on your media player or, stereo...and go with the flow.

If you bought it here at Amazon, you paid a reasonable price...

Enjoy!

Free Music Review: This is music itself. You need it. Now.
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm embarrassed and upset with myself I bought this album so late--almost a year after it was released. When I first listened to it, I couldn't believe it is SO good. It was an incredible experience and I haven't been able to put it down since.

This album--this album--is Paul's best since Band On The Run and one of the best of the decade. Sonically elegant, musically subtle and intelligent, with adventurous vocals and instrumentation, it's a perfect geometry of forms and substance. Daring, delicate, trippy, rocky, reflective, progressive, hypnotic, addictive, with a taste of psychadelia. Both for teenage kids and mature generations. You'll LOVE it. Just listen to it.
