Free Music Review: Determined Growing Group Hit: 5 Stars
I enjoyed this movie and was delighted to have my family member ask to hear it for their enjoyment not only for themselves for but their summer camp this past July 2007.
Free Music Review: Rare find Hit: 5 Stars
Great CD, equally hard to find. There is something about the selection of songs taken from the movie. If you have the movie, it is a must to own the CD.
Free Music Review: Five Heartbeats Hit: 5 Stars
Wonderful C.D.!!! Songs from the 60's and 70's are my favorites. I'm proud to add the 5 Heartbeats to my collection.
Free Music Review: Doo-wop at it's best! Hit: 4 Stars
If you enjoy music from the golden Motown era this one's for you. Smooth sounds and splendid harmony of the Dells blended with modern day technology on "A Heart is A House For Love" made me want to get up and two-step and slow-drag. The combination of Patti Labelle and Tressa Thomas on "We Haven't Finished Yet" gives a majestic blend of the seasoned and the new to this meaningful mid-tempo song. After 7's version of "Nights Like This" is the ultimate in doo-wop. "I Feel Like Going On" has become an anthem in many churches across the country. And who of us from the Motown era could resist dancing and chuckling at Byrd and the Midnight Falcon's message in "Baby Stop Running Around"? All in all, this album is a refreshing look back at what good, clean thumping music use to be when we were growing up.
