I love all the music but I wish they would had did the Billy Valentine version on the CD of a heart is a heart for love which is the actual version in the movie. also I like america love Patti Labelle however! I wish that the young lady voice who sang the song or background track We havn't finished yet with Robert townsend in the movie had recored it on the CD Patti put to much over kill in it. and who is it that did Baby stop running around? that was awesome!!! and yes a lot of songs that were in the movie should have been on the CD like Baby dolls stuff etc. but nevertheless is all good. the movie is awesome!!!my name is LeGrand from DC

ROBERT TOWSEND PUT TOGETHER GREAT ASSAMBLE OF LEGEND ACTOR'S AND MUSICIAN'S ALL OF WHOM ARE VERY TALANTED PRFORMER'S.THE FILM AND SOUNDTRACK BOTH COMPLIMENT HIS WORK AND HIS VISION AS A DIRECTOR ACTOR,AND HISTORIAN,ON ALL LEVEL'S.BUT ONE PICTICULAR SONG STAND'S OUT FOR ME IS"NIGHT'S LIKE THIS",WAS ACTUALLY WRITTEN BY ONE TYME BAND MEMBER'S JESSE JOHNSON NO MORE TO BE SAID ON THIS DUDE.Free Music Review: 5 Heartbeats a Winner

I would not have had other groups perform the songs that were done in the movie either. The Dells were singing the songs by the Heartbeats and they should have done all the songs. Also, I think all of Flash's and Baby Doll's songs should have been there.Free Music Review: Fair but not great

Great cd but there is a the movie and listen to "A Heart Is A House For Love"..and "Nights Like This".Then listen to the cd.On the movie these songs are sung perfectly by Billy Valentine but on the cd they changed "A heart is a House 4 Love," which on the cd was sung by The Dells.I love the Dells great job but.. There is no excuse for them changing "Nights Like This" after 7 ruined that song. Billy Valentine sung it with power and I bought the cd hoping it was him I was very let down. I am still looking 4 a copy of him singing it but no luck.
