Free Music Review: Good,Not Great

This is my first Flower Kings album so forgive any mistakes I make.
The album is good but not great.I compare this to the last two IQ releases.It is cool to listen to the first time through but I haven't had any desire to listen again since.I love early Genesis and that is what pushed me to purchase this.I read an interview with Roine Stolt just before it's release and he spoke of an early Genesis feel to it.The influence is there in parts but the major difference,I believe,is the lack of passion vocally.
Musically,it is very good ,but it just hasn't hooked me.I love prog but this is nothing new.
