Free Music Notes for Gettin' Pretty Good at Barely Gettin' ByFree Music Review: Back in business again! Hit: 5 StarsI've been a fan of The Four Horsemen's 1991 albuml, "Nobody Said It Was Easy" for some time now. I also own their debut, four-track EP and the live CD from their recently relseased, DVD/CD boxed set. Some of the tracks on this CD (the title track and "Back In Business Again") are among their best. Nobody... may have more instant appeal - due largely to Rick Rubin's production - but the quality of the songwriting on "Barely..." has more lasting appeal. Good old-fashioned music at its best!
Free Music Review: OK CD to bad they are not together anymore Hit: 4 StarsGood bar Band, full glass of beer has special meaning for anyone who has lost a buddy. 2nd album is better tho.
Free Music Review: A pitiful cryin shame Hit: 5 StarsI have both Horsemen CD's. Love them both in their own way. Tremendous talent. Tremendous vocals, writing skills and musicianship. Just an astonishingly great CD. More, much more music from this band should have come. At least we have 2 great albums from the Four Horsemen. But when I get through listening to this one, I just sit and wonder...what if?
Free Music Review: One of my all time favorites. Hit: 5 StarsI don't remember where I first heard this band but I am glad I did. I have both albums - "Gettin Pretty Good..." and "Nobody Said It Was Easy" I love them both. Hard rocking songs to get me motivated. Great CD for driving alone, volume turned way up!!! If you like Southern Rock, both of these should be in your collection.
