I ripped 4 tracks from this, but only one track from GI (or MIA). The Germs in studio had appeal to hard-core punkers as I noted in talks with some people from the clubs in Athens/Augusta, i.e. the snarling /growling that characterized their later tunes. This CD gets closer to what they really were at their best, which BTW is true of most indie artists (hint: get their original music wherever possible). That said, there was still too much slow, uninteresting sludge here, so my feeling is if there were ever to be a great collection of their material, it would be from different performances in several different venues. How anyone would get the rights to publish all of that I don't know.
