Free Music Notes for Goodbye Blues

Free Music Review: Beautiful CD
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the first CD by The Hush Sound that I've ever heard. I bought it after hearing it played in my local CD/Record store. I absolutely love it. The first and the seventh songs I skip over everytime (the seventh reminds me of elevator or videogame music), but the rest of the songs are powerful and beautiful.

Free Music Review: A new, but great sound
Hit: 5 Stars

I think that the Hush Sound's cd Goodbye Blues is a little different sound for the band, but it is definately still great. This album showcases more piano and greater range from the lead female singer. If you want a unique mix of jazz meets rock meets indie. It takes a bit of listening to get used to but anyone will enjoy them. Check the cd out, its definately one of my favorites.

Free Music Review: Absolutely Amazing!
Hit: 5 Stars

Absolutely amazing CD. If your a fan of their first two albums, or just looking for a new style of music, go out and buy it! They've definitely got a unique sound. You won't be disappointed. :)

Free Music Review: Great Songs!!! Terrible Tracking!
Hit: 5 Stars

Each individual song is great. I love every one of them. They picked up right where they left off from their previous two CD's. However, the CD's tracking is just plain aweful. What I love most about the first two CDs is how well Bob songs and Greta songs are mixed throughout. This CD, however, is a bunch of Greta songs. One Bob song. An instrumental. A bunch of Bob songs. And then a Greta song. I would have liked to have seen a better mixture. Here is my hint, put the CD in and set your CD player to random. Much better.

Free Music Review: Same great style
Hit: 4 Stars

I didn't really know what I was in for when I decided to buy this album, but I was so surprised. Hush keeps its great original sound while working a little more on incorporating rock into their songs (instead of some of the solo piano songs in the earlier albums). I was definitely pleased and I would recommend any Hush fan to buy this. The reason that I'm docking off one star, however, is that I felt that some of their songs (Love you Much Better, Honey) sort of grew on my nerves with their campness.
