Perfect for nap time and bedtime, especially for younger children (3 and under). Karen Peris's voice is perfect for lullabies. "Now the day is over" is my favorite in the bunch, and my only compaint is that the selections are not longer.Free Music Review: The Best Lullaby CD for Babies

This is by far my most favorite baby lullaby album. The title track is "our" favorite, and it plays on repeat all night long. My daughter chills out and so do I. Who could ask for more? Free Music Review: It's a children's album!

This was given to me by my sister who is a BIG fan of The Innocence Mission. I have many cds for kids but THIS is the one I would keep if I had to chuck all but one out. My baby will slowly drift off to sleep with the beautiful, tender and calming music, something all parents around the world will appreciate or even strive for (witness the slew of sleep inducing books, formulas and products out there). For people who find the music repetitive, slow or sweet, well it is meant to be that. This is a children's album after all with lullabies meant to soothe and gentle your baby. And really, just when your baby is calming down you don't want a change in tempo or sudden climactic tone to jar your baby into wakefulness or excitement. We use this CD together with the little sleep sheep on the go as part of our naptime and bedtime routine and our little one has been sleeping through the night at three months. Big plus: I can actually listen to this album again and again!
