I would buy this CD at "normal" CD prices; as it was I got one for the house and one for the car. As one reviewer observed you may not want to go by the track listing -- and this is not a compilation of scattered tunes as the title suggests. This is instead a very fine set of tunes by a very fine group of traditional/contemporary Celtic musicians. It is sad that Cran is not receiving any money from this, but hopefully it brings in some new fans.Free Music Review: Excellent

I am new to Irish music and was looking for an introduction to the genre. Since I know little of what's out there, I felt this purchase was a crap shoot, and my expectations were low. Was I suprised! The selections are interesting and beautifully done. The performances were passionate. energetic and real (not sappy or cheesy like the last celtic/irish Cd I tried). This could certainly be a full price CD. Highly recommended.Free Music Review: A toe-tapper!

This is a wonderful album of traditional Irish instrumental and vocal music, marred only by the lack of any liner notes to identify the performers. I would love to have followed up by seeking out recordings by some of them. If you want to make your day go faster, and enjoy the musical sunshine on your back, you can't go wrong with this recording.Free Music Review: good album

I actually got it for my dad...he loves this type of music.
But I copied it for myself...and really liked it. Its a great "I need motivation to move around and clean my house" kinda music. Good for a workout too.

A foot tapping collection of Irish jigs and reels that make you want to dance, even if it's in the living room. Very enjoyable - and reflects the spirit of Irish folk music. Tops!
