Free Music Review: A Good Ride

It starts off with a beautifully orchestrated and sneaky main title track that pays obvious homage to the first film's score ("The Italian Job", 1969) by Quincy Jones. Every track has its own style and mood until it slams into action. After that, the listener is treated to some of the best guitar-orchestra this side of John Carpenter.

My absolute favorite tracks on this CD are the Main Titles, Boat Chase, The New Plan, Tunnel Run, and Chopper Chase.

My ONLY complaint is that it's missing some music. I'm NOT talking about the songs, "Heartbreaker", "California Love", "Money", "The Wreckoning" or other songs you can stop asking about on the Amazon Review Pages and find on websites pertaining to film music, I'm talking about the shipyard music and the music that was used for the Mini-Cooper run through the L.A. MetroRail.

If you want a SOUNDTRACK, then download the music and burn a CD. If you want a music SCORE, then buy this CD and don't complain. There are plenty of places on the web to find out who did "The Wreckoning" or "Money". Here isn't the place to do it.
