Free Music Review: A Very Unique Bit of the Jerky Boys' History...

Although I didn't originally expect to enjoy this album (which consists of older Jerky Boys work that never made it to their other albums), after hearing it I felt that the `The Jerky Tapes' contains some of the best pranks the group has put out to date.
Every other Jerky Boys album has over 20 prank phone calls. `The Jerky Tapes' bucks that trend by having nine long calls instead, and I think that makes it stand out very much from the other Jerky Boys albums. The best part of this is the four tracks where they get a florist terribly angry, and `Moonlight Matinee' is also a classic. Unfortunately, `What's Wrong With This World!?' is a boring call that feels like it was rejected for a reason. The rest of the calls make this unique collection a must have, especially if you're already a fan of the Jerkys and have overlooked this interesting piece of their legacy.
