Free Music Review: Time-less romance

On my all-time favorite film list, this one ranks right up there with "Somewhere in Time." It is haunting, charming, and ultimately very satisfying. Not only do I like the film, I am enamored of the soundtrack. McCartney's "This Is the Way It Should Be" is such a lovely song. Portman's musical inventions are gentle and so easy on the ear. One song missing from this album is Rosemary Clooney's beautiful rendition of "I Wish You Love," which played during the waiting-for-Alex scene in the restaurant. Other than that minor omission, I find this an excellent way to revisit a much-loved film.Free Music Review: A tribute to the power of Love

I have to be honest here; a person may relate more to this if you have experienced a love-story against all odds--but the DVD is still worth getting. It helps you ponder, reflect and appreciate the miracle of Love. . . And is certainly a nice movie to view and escape the presures of the day. The ending is very emotional. I am so enchanted by Rachel Portman's music in this movie that I play it when I need to write, when I nature walk and just about anytime that I need to feel, and be, connected to a higher source. It is deeply spiritual and resonates with my soul. I am a Sandra Bullock fan. What a great movie without blood, gore and a lot of swearing going on. My Father actually recommended that I see it. Excellent romantic movie. Loved Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves performance's in this. They have some terrific chemistry too. I recommend buying this for a really enjoyable romantic movie with a good twist to it. I have had this Cd for a while. I listen to it often. The movie is one of my favorites also. I watched it the afternoon I got engaged (didn't know it would be that night!)
One song I don't remember hearing on the soundtrack is the piano (dinner-music-sounding)song played when he plants the tree for her. Does anyone else know about this?
