Free Music Notes for The Last DragonFree Music Review: It's about time! Hit: 5 Stars
Yes, finally this soundtrack has been re-released! I've been looking for this for years. The Last Dragon is still one of my favorite movies, and it's got one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. At the risk of sounding overdramatic, I have to say the songs are very inspiring. Especially "Glow," "Inside You," and of course, "Last Dragon" itself. And "Sukiyaki Hot Sake Sue" was just good for a laugh, I wish it had been included also, as another reviewer mentioned. I often catch myself singing these songs, but I would like to be able to just listen to them whenever. I think we could use more songs like this these days; too much of today's music is just downright depressing and takes itself way too seriously. The same goes for movies. At any rate, I'd recommend this soundtrack to anyone. If you're already a fan of the movie, I don't even need to recommend it, you're probably already clicking the order button. If you aren't, what are you waiting for? (But hey, don't order them all out, I haven't gotten my copy yet.)
Free Music Review: Great soundtrack, but the volume levels differ. Hit: 5 Stars
I agree with alot of the reviewers here. But there is one thing that I noticed is that the volume lever differs throughtout the cd. It's like a bouncing ball going up and down in different hieghts. A few songs are lower and one like Upset Stomach is way louder. The DeBarge song is low too. I mean turn the DeBarge song up and when Upset Stomach comes on you will be dashing to turn it down. I wonder what went wrong?
Other than all of that and the extended versions this is a awesome soundtrack. I first got a hold of it when I found the cassette in a cut out bin. The cassette is a Canadian import though but found the songs enjoyable. I wish I can find the lp US issue that's sealed and new or MINT? Anybody have it on lp like that are and willing to sell????
Free Music Review: One of the Greastest of the 1980's Hit: 5 Stars
I ditto Ben completely, long over due re-release, seeking cd & dvd for years, one of my favorites - never gets old, down played to the highest - denied appropriate recognition, and I think that it should be re-introduced in someway. It has been a very instrumental tool in teaching youth about accomplishing there goals & dreams by reaching inside themselves and allowing the best to come forth. It has also been successful with christian youth ministries by relaying a message of the difference between spiritually good & evil influences, and finding the source of true love inside yourself, by faith in God. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT CAST AGAIN - MANY YEARS LATER - PROPTS TO BERRY GORDY!

Free Music Review: Complete album of true inspiration and delight. Hit: 5 Stars
Despite the fact that this music, as well as the film, had been released in 1985, this album has a distinctive sound, noteworthy lyrics and some memorable songs. The lyrical pieces from songs such as "The Last Dragon," "The Glow," "First Time On A Ferris Wheel," and "Inside You" are deep and somewhat inspirational. Quite honestly, this album is truly a masterpiece which stands out as king among the peasants of other eighties soundtrack albums. An easy listen as well as a dance mix, this album has something for everyone. I do not suggest letting this slip through mounts of any compact disc rack. Pick this up immediately.
