Free Music Notes for The Living Sea: Soundtrack From The IMAX FilmFree Music Review: My favourite CD Hit: 5 StarsMy work has been very stressful, difficult projects and difficult deadlines. When I've worked late at night, and I've been under the gun, I've popped this CD into my player because this amazing music helps me focus. How can you not feel at peace while listening to this soundtrack? I credit this CD with my success in these situations. I've listened to it literally hundreds of times, which is why I'm on amazon.com tonight to order a new copy, because mine is worn out!
And the IMAX movie is fabulous!
Free Music Review: spectacular Hit: 5 StarsThe Living Sea is beautiful and magnificent. A wonderful masterpiece of the sea. Stings music adds depth to the movie.
Free Music Review: My absolute favorite - even after 8 years!!!!! Hit: 5 StarsI first saw the IMAX movie back in early 1997 and ran straight to the gift shop and bought the CD. Back then, I was going through some emotional family turmoil, and this CD was my salvation at times... soulful, calming... I *still* get goosebumps when I listen to #7- "Why Should I Cry For You". The first two and a half minutes of this song are utterly amazing - a gradual and emotional build-up into one of the most soulful melodies I have ever heard from Sting. This entire CD is absolutey GENIUS...
Free Music Review: Steve Wood uses samples... Hit: 5 Stars...from various Sting-songs, and the prodution sounds inspired and is indeed inspiring itself. The sound is crystal clear, and especially the guitar. These are some of the best "adaptions" of Stings' songs I've ever heard. There really isn't much more to say other than I am so glad to have added both "the living sea " and "dolphins" (same consept) to my Sting-collection. I have the IMAX-films as well, and the sound of these songs is even better in DTS. Highly recommended!
Free Music Review: Tranquil. Soothing. Grab a glass of wine and relax..... Hit: 5 StarsThis is "delicious" music. I especially love the instrumentals on track #12, Jellyfish Lake. This music really does conjur images of a warm tropical secluded beach. I play this often when my 7th grade students are doing quiet map-drawing work. They settle right down just to listen.
