listening to this soundtrack was like reliving the Triology all over again. I've cried in many of the sadder pieces, as i thought about that characters of the parts of the film it was describing. It is absolutely amazing! Howard Shore's musical score is so emotional and beautiful. From the yarn at the "Prancing Pony" and the heartache from "The Gray Havens" this soundtrack will have you simply captivated with awe.

This is a great way to own all three soundtracks if you haven't bought the individual soundtracks previously. Each CD has several standout tracks: the theme for the Fellowship and May It Be are great from the first film, the Rohan theme and "Gollum's Song" from Two Towers, and Hope and Memory and Into the West from the third film.Free Music Review: Bring it back!!!

I LOVE the music from lord of the rings, and I don't see why they don't sell the 3 cd's together anymore. Besides, this one supposedly came with collector's items. Please, please, please re-release this so we don't have to buy three overpriced CDS!!!Free Music Review: D'une exellence pure et simple
