If you like '60's Folk Rock, you will love this album. This group had an
incredible sound and the cd captures it perfectly. It is hard to believe
that John Phillips, Cass Elliot, and Denny Doherty are no longer with us.
But "California Dreamin'" and all the other great hits live on this cd.

This is an "oldie" but very, very "goodie". I heard a story on NPR about Momma Cass and the song "Dream a Little Dream" which I had not heard for decades. Of course I found it easily at Amazon. I decided to give the CD to my sweetheart who aspires to be a successful Karaoke singer (she already is a great RN nurse). Boy was that a good move! We've listened to the CD and the song many times and she is working to put it in her repertoire. Thank you Amazon.com

The Mamas and the Papas had and still have, the best sound in Folk music. When you play their music, it has a unique sound that makes you want to sit back and reminise about a time when music was re-defining itself in the country. Each song you hear makes you want to hear it over and over again, while todays music has mainly, one or two good songs on an album or CD> Great group for all ages to enjoy including future generations.
