Free Music Review: Be disappointed
Hit: 1 Stars

I listened Titanic Soundtrack and I realized that was a must have CD. Later I saw The Mask of Zorro, I knew that James Horner composed it, and I bought the soundtrack. Gee, what a deception!!!

Horner makes an excelent work in soft melodies. During action sequences he just doesnt perform as John Williams or Hans Zimmer. Horner action sequences are mediocre.

As the movie is almost pure action, the whole result is mediocre. It does not have anything remarkable. The only good tracks are Zorro's theme *track 8* and Diego's Goodbye *Track 12*.

The other tracks have some nice fragments. But it has overall poor performance. Actions sequences have not power but makes you feel uneasy as you could be listening a alley cat night concert when you sleep.

The uneasy sensation fits with action parts in Titanic because the whole movie tries to make you feel uneasy. But this time, I would hire Hans Zimmer to do the job.

I will go to a trade store in order to recover as many money as I can for that disc. Else, garbage can is big enough.

I am so disappointed of Horner and I will never make blinded-eye purchases of Horner music again.

The Rock, Star Wars, Superman, Yellow Submarine, Hunt for Red October, Titanic... all those deserve a special place in my collection... but this one is just another mediocre job. If you do not believe me, buy it and be disappointed too.
