As soon as it arrived in the mail, I placed my CD in my stereo and with in seconds my blood was pumping. I found my self dancing away to the first track, "The Plaza Of Execution". And I was almost brought to tears while listening to "Elena And Esperanza".Now I listen to the slow tracks before I go to bed at night, and the faster paced tracks to get me going in the morning.
It's a must for any soundtrack collector!

First of all, this is one of the best movies that I have seen in ages. It was just a wonderful moviegoing experience. The music is some of the most breathtaking, gorgeous, beautiful, and exhilerating music that has ever entered my ears. It's absolutely fantastic. If you loved the music in the movie, I strongly urge you to get this CD. Also, the ending credits song is just out of this world. This soundtrack is absolutely breathtaking!!! All tracks here are every minute dramatic and soothing. All songs have a distinct Spanish flavour, that's REAL... In the end, the love theme "I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You" is so captivating, much much better than the overplayed "My Heart Will Go On". A magnificent soundtrack to match a magnificent movie !! Every time I listen to this, I can see the film in my head over & over again, and the sound of someone's clicking heels as counterpoint is a stroke of genius. I wish I could rate this CD ten stars !!! It's too bad people will not take Zorro seriously next to Private Ryan, but I'll be damned if Mask of Zorro isn't one of my favorite movies of all time !!Free Music Review: Absolutely Astonishing... By far, one of the finest scores in production today. James Horner has once again rose to the occcasion with this masterpiece of music and spirit!!! Additionally, while possibly a tad-bit out of place, as compared with the rest of the score, the trailer ballad "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You" is undoubtly one of the finest love songs ever written and performed!! This Score will touch you forever!!
