Free Music Notes for The Matrix: Music From The Motion PictureFree Music Review: Great soundtrack for a great film Hit: 5 Stars
This CD has every track from the film plus a few that weren't. Now I'm a big fan of anything from rock to thrash metal and am not really into dance or club music alot and deffinatly not Marilyn Manson. When I got this I was surprised to find that I liked everything on the album, except Marilyn Manson. There are great tracks from Deftones, Rob d, Propellerheads, Monster Magnet, Rammstein and RATM. If you saw the film and liked the music in it but are still unsure of whether or not to get it, take it from me, you'll be sorry if you don't. BUY IT NOW!!!!
Free Music Review: Great Stuff Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of my favorite soundtracks especially Rob Dougan's Clubbed To Death track, which has, for some time, been a hightlight for me. I wanted to know more about this artist, and after some fruitless searchs typing in Rob D into the Amazon search engine, I took the radical step of typing his full name and thus discovered his incredible Furious Angels album which is one of the best albums I've ever heard. In short: The Matrix soundtrack if you don't already have it is highly recomended, and if you do check out Furious Angels which is breathtaking!
Free Music Review: Best CD in my collection Hit: 5 Stars
I was very impressed with this CD. Usually when you buy a soundtrack from a movie, there are one, or if you're lucky two songs on it that you like. But on this CD, I liked ALL of them. Possibly the best song is #4, "Clubbed to Death" by Rob D. It's a wonderful instrumental. The rest of the songs on the CD are quite good too, ranging from the best of Marilyn Manson to the best of Rage Against the Machine and Rob Zombie. This CD is one of the best ever, so if your taste in music goes for the darker, heavier side, this CD is a must.
Free Music Review: The most excellent soundtrack for anyone who likes techno!! Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack has the most amazingly fast paced music I have ever heard and like the movie, it deserves four stars. Track number 2 is very complex and just a simple thump, thump, sound (if you have watched the movie, they play this track when the people are going into the matrix and they switch between the people going into the matrix and the phone ringing in the matrix.) Overall my favorite soundtrack. Normally soundtracks have a few god songs but every track in this cd has good quality music. Buy it!!! Its worth any price!!!!
Free Music Review: They say it couldn't be done Hit: 5 Stars
...The Wachowski brothers (or whoever organized this) took 13 songs and put them on a cd. But they were 13 songs that FIT THE MOOD, which (along with the special effects) pretty much made the movie famous. Mix in some great rock songs (Wake Up, My Own Summer) and ok rock (Du Hast, Rock is Dead) along with some great techno (Spybreak, Clubbed to Death, and that Hive song that I've heard everywhere), and you have the perfect soundtrack for a cyber-movie. Less than one year til the next one woohoo! Can't wait for that highway scene!
