The use of the oboe and the strings is perfectly melded, and the repetition of the haunting melody is simply exquisite. If you buy this title, it is worth all the money you pay for it, and then some. Morricone puts you back in your seat with some of the most dramatic and beautiful music ever heard. Using this title for a marching band show at our school, I had never heard more beautiful music. It will make you cry. I was looking through some soundtrack titles and cam upon this one. By mistake I clicked the 1-click order button (I am a previous Amazon.com shopper). I thought I goofed but decided to keep it.
