Free Music Notes for The Mission: Original Soundtrack From The Motion PictureFree Music Review: Great music for an underrated movie Hit: 5 Stars
It's best to see the movie and watch how beautifully Morricone's music blends with the cinematography and the deepening tragedy the script evokes. Listening to the soundtrack on its own, though, is by no means a waste of effort. The Mission was a beautiful movie; this is an ethereal companion to it.
Free Music Review: AMAZON.COM,YOU'RE A GREAT RECOMMENDER ! Hit: 5 Stars
I saw the movie last night for the first time on TV and this morning I saw it's being recomended to me.I was astonished! Of course like the movie itself, the musical score was also haunting. And I am contemplating to buy this soundtrack as soon as possible.Besides,I always love Morricone's pieces.
Free Music Review: Transcendent Hit: 5 Stars
This is possibly the most beautiful soundtrack ever composed for film, and a couple of the pieces can only be described as transcendent. While The Mission is a wonderful film, I am sure much of its soundtrack will long outlive the film and may achieve musical immortality.

This is an exceptional CD with a powerful theme that is carried throughout the whole work. When paired with the movie it is incredible yet just as amazing on it's own! One of my most listened to CDs! Truly great music! You can't turn this one down! A great CD to relax to.

The movie was awesome and having the soundtrack is fantastic. I'm taking some college courses to continue my teaching certificate and I've written over 30 pages while listening to this music. It is relaxing while being inspirational at the same time - very uplifting.
