"This Is My Round" is yet another of The Mollys' great early albums. Catherine Zavala and Nancy McCallion are a pair of feisty Irish colleens (Well, Catherine is actually a Mexican-American, but she sings as though she could be Frank McCourt's mother!) singing their original songs and Irish standards with ample passion. Lately, The Mollys have garnered much critical acclaim and a devoted loyal following throughout the United States. After hearing this early album of theirs, you'll understand why, but also wonder why they aren't more popular.
