Free Music Review: Missing Monkees songs Part 2

Missing Links, Volume Two is 47 minutes and 41 seconds long and came out in January 1990. The CD never charted. Mainly you will find songs on this CD that were featured on the show but never released on their studio albums. All the King's Horses and Riu Chiu was feature on a Monkees episode. One of my favorite Monkees songs, Words, is on it with a much more eerie sound. Not the friendly version you hear on the radio. Besides Words, Valleri, I Wanna Be Free, I'll Be Back upon My Feet, Hold on Girl, and Circle Sky are all different versions then the studio version that came out on the albums. The remaining songs never made it to their albums. Just like a goof in volume one, a song is mis-titled. Michigan Blackhawk original title is Down the Highway. Davey, who sang lead on volume one, sings lead on only three of them and share lead with Mickey on I Wanna Be Free. Michael sings lead on seven songs, Mickey on five and Peter one song. Below is a list of the songs and who sings lead on them. Still this is a great Monkees CD. Missing Links, Volume Two gets an AAAAA+++++.
