Free Music Notes for The Most Relaxing Classical Album in the World...Ever!Free Music Review: J.S. BACH is the best;, for a contemprary genius, see GENIE Hit: 5 StarsDespite the somewhat cheesy title, this is an amazing album.
I put it right up there with my favorite relaxing muisc of all, the GENIE 4 CD set.
Genie is, I believe, an AMISH artist who in my mind is the finest writer of this century.
Free Music Review: What??? Hit: 5 StarsThe Most Relaxing Classical Album in the World...Ever! ... Let that sink in... this is possibly the most hype-filled, redundant, and ridiculous album title I've ever seen before in my wretched life. If the person who compiled this album and came up with the title are indeed the same, they must be one of the most pompous and conceited people on the face of the earth. Despite the fact this person obviously has not heard the 90% of classical works never recorded, I don't see how they can have any clue that this is, as they say, "The Most Relaxing Classical Album in the World." Whoops... I forgot "EVER"... Just based on the sheer brilliance of the title, I will most certainly buy it right away... not only for myself, but for all my friends and family to enhance their lives. << a dozen eyerolls.
Free Music Review: it is just that Hit: 5 Starsfor a album with so few of the masters on it,this album is abselutely unbelivable!i was so far into the tranquility of the music i felt like i was in a trance or something by song 8.speaking of which,it is my favorite classical song ever called in paridisum by faure.i dont know what that chick is singing about but its heavenly!the entire album is stellar!it truly is one of the best classical albums of all time and there are many increbible albums out there.
Free Music Review: Everybody settle down. Hit: 3 StarsCrikey, people, let's all draw a deep breath and re-focus.
Needless to say that there are vacuous yuppies out there wanting to impress their dinner party guests with this CD.
But there are others, such as myself, who are thinking of purchasing this CD just to hear pleasant songs/melodies either attentively or *gasp* as background fare. And what's wrong with that? I know what I'm getting into. This is a "greatest hits" of languid classical music. I DON'T WANT to hear the whole symphony; if I wanted to do that I would buy the full version.
Most folks wouldn't have a problem buying, say, Pink Floyd's greatest hits, yet there will always be someone with righteous indignation over taking "Us and Them" out of the context of The Dark Side of the Moon. It's a great song either way; enjoy it as you please.
My advice to you all: Relax.
Free Music Review: You'll love it Hit: 5 StarsThis double CD is one of my favorites in my collection. Its something you can put on if you just want to sit back and have a nice relaxing evening. And I love a wide variety of classical music from Barber to Wagner. Believe me, this is wonderful.
