Free Music Notes for The Mummy: Original Motion Picture SoundtrackFree Music Review: it's a fantastic soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
i'm a great fan of goldsmith's works. This soundtrack is a fantastic mixture of epic music and middle estern music. It's adact to an adventure-action music! there are some points similar to the 13th warrior's score. for the percussions and with the brass instruments. At the end, this score beautiful and axciting, I suggest you to have it in your collection.
Free Music Review: An Outstanding Score Hit: 5 Stars
Jerry Goldsmith was one of the most versitile of film composers and this is one of those scores that proves it. The mood of action/adventure and exotic location is brought to life in his score, and that the music remains fresh and not mired in a lot of "effects" music is remarkable. Jerry Goldsmith proves again that he is the most innovative composer of film music.
Free Music Review: My Favourite Soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
I think this is the greatest work of Jerry Goldsmith. The music is absolutely fantastic and powerful, but not too fast. And sometimes the music is very scary but it also has some beautiful and romantic melodies. One of the things what makes this score so good, is that it's more like egyptian music. I think this should've been a complete score-soundtrack.
Free Music Review: one of the best goldsmith has done. buy this cd Hit: 5 Stars
this is a cd to buy. you can listen to this without knowing about the movie and you can tell that it's somewhere in the desert and there's something bad happening. goldsmith paints a perfect picture for this movie. he uses the brass section very well for this movie. it's one of the best i've heard from goldsmith, so advice you to buy it
Free Music Review: Better than Star Wars: Episode I Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is simply the best to come out within the last few years. Goldsmith perfectly sends us to the deserts of Africa in this score. His theme for Rick O'Connel really rocks. I have John Williams's score to the First Star Wars Episode, and it was dissapointing. The Mummy really gives the action The Phantom Menace lacks.
