Free Music Review: Wholesome fun for the family

I was reading a review that was left for this CD and have to say one thing, "Get a grip!!" We all grew up watching the Muppets and Sesame Street. It was all simple mindless fun when we were kids. Things progress as you get older. The video games we played as kids were simple minded. The video games of today are complicated and thought provoking with all the puzzles, secret areas and such. With that said, I move on.
I think that this is a great CD. I listen to it with my kids as well as watch the movies. It is fun for them because they are sharing a childhood memory with their parents. It is something that all of us can share. The songs are a bit simple but are funny and the most fun is the memories that you tend to remember when the music starts. So, take time to listen to this with your kids and enjoy!!! That is what life is all about!!!

I enjoy Méhdi"Christmas Treasures",Charlie Brown Christmas ,Mannheim Steamroller etc.and this a magnificent production that I also enjoy just as much.This Cd is exceptional in quailty. My two Daughters and I use to watch the Muppet Show faithfully. We loved the program. This CD has many of the best songs the Muppet's sang. Love to sing along with it and brings back many wonderful memories. Took it to my Daughters house to listen to and left it their for my new Granddaughter. (her mom and dad love it too) I am purchasing another for myself. I love to play it in the car and sing along as well as at home. It really is exceptional. Love those Muppets!

I ordered this CD after trying to find the soundtrack from the original Muppet Movie. That's when I found out that soundtrack is in HIGH demand. Since this CD had the favorite tracks we were looking for from the Muppet Movie (Rainbow Connection & Movin' Right Along) as well as some other classic muppet tunes (Muppet show theme song, the Dancing Bear, etc.)this was the perfect solution at a much more reasonable price. A win-win in our book.
As with any CD I've ever purchased there are a few songs that aren't our faves but we can always skip over those and repeat the ones we like as many times as we want!!
My boys are 10 and 13 and our family loves this CD. It's the perfect road trip CD.

This wonderful CD has 27 tracks, all containing great memories from the Muppet Show, and the subsequent movies. Fourteen of the tracks are from the show, four from The Muppet Movie (Rainbow Connects, Movin' Right Along and Can You Picture That? - three of my all-time favorites!), three from The Great Muppet Caper, three from The Muppets Take Manhattan, one from The Muppet Christmas Carol, one from Muppet Treasure Island, and one from Muppets From Space.As you can see, this CD has a lot of great songs, and a lot of great Muppet memories. The paperwork has a bunch of great color pictures, plus the story of Muppet music. This is a great CD, one sure to please the kids and the kids-at-heart (like me)! Buy it!

This collection brings back many memories of watching the Muppet show when I was a kid with my father. The best part of the Muppets is they are still just as funny now, looking back, as they were then. They didn't dumb themselves down a la Barney to entertain kids. Parents could also be entertained. When Jim Henson tragically died on my birthday in 1990, the world lost a genius. The Muppets now a days aren't as funny as they used to be, and Jim Henson's loss is the reason for this. I put this on in my car as soon as I got it.. I think I got some odd looks from other drivers for singing "Mahna, Mahna!" but it's worth it. Pick this up, and have fun!
