Free Music Notes for Alligator

Free Music Review: mind blowing live
Hit: 5 Stars

I saw these guys in concert in brooklyn and they were absolutely amazing. These guys were real intense, I feared the lead singer was going to have a nervous breakdown during the set. These guys are really underrated and Alligator is one of the best albums of the year. Beautiful melodies, clear deep sung lyrics. They can pick up the pace as well.

Free Music Review: I wish I could give it ten stars!
Hit: 5 Stars

This album renewed my faith and love in recent music. I bought it a couple of years ago and, as soon as I popped it into the stereo, was unable to take it out. It's rare (or impossible) that most people get to say this about any record, but I'm saying it: it's on a short list of albums that have changed my life.

Free Music Review: I Would Say The National Are The Most Underrated Band In America
Hit: 5 Stars

I discovered this album in 07 after hearing their 07' release Boxer ( which is another excellent album) and wish I would have listened to long before, because track for track not much albums are this strong. The Geese of Beverly Road is probably my favorite followed by Abel and then closely by every other track on the album.

Free Music Review: The National seem more like a local secret
Hit: 5 Stars

...but boy do they deserve to gain a wider audience. Perhaps my favorite album of the year, this one is a real gem. It's a bit on the mellow side with "Lit Up" and "All the Wine" as more of the "rockers" on the album. "The Geese of Beverly Hills" is the highlight for me, a song that makes you weak in the knees.

Free Music Review: absolutely incredible
Hit: 5 Stars

best album I have heard in ten years. The National manages to find a whole new vien of pop music that doesn't bring to mind any easy comparisons. I have had people say, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Mark Knofler but that only covers the singers voice not the texture of the songs or the sophistication of the whole package.
